Guidelines
|
Entrance Exams are held each year in March/April. Admissions are strictly as per merit list. Use of influence for admission will be treated as a disqualification. Admission schedule is attached separately. Candidates are admitted provisionally. In case full fees are not paid within 7 days by any of the provisionally admitted candidates, the seat is forfeited and the admission is offered to students on the waiting list. Following documents must be submitted along with the Application:
- Copy of mark list (std. III) or previous class.
- Copy of progress report up to the last terminal exam of current year.
- Character certificate.
- A sum of Rs. 450/- by cash /DD in favour of Bhonsala Military School; Nagpur to be paidtowards Registration and Entrance Exam fees.
Note: Incomplete forms or forms without requisite attachments will be rejected.

Admission Rules
|
- Admission is open for boys to std. V every year.
- Admission to higher standards is subject to availability of vacancies and at the discretion of school management.
- Admission is open for all eligible candidates irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
For admission to std. V, candidates must
have attained 9 years of Age on 1st July
that year and should have passed Std IV,
preferably from an English medium
school.
Prospectus, including application form,
can be obtained from school counter by
paying Rs. 450/- in cash.
Outstation candidates can obtain the
prospectus by sending a Demand Draft for
Rs. 500/- in favour of Bhonsala Military
School, Nagpur, payable at Nagpur. The
prospectus shall be sent by Registered
Post.
Candidate can write the Entrance Exam in
English or Marathi or Hindi. Entrance
exam subjects include: Language, Maths,
Reasoning, Science and General
Knowledge.
Application forms for seeking admission
along with prescribed Test Fees &
Registration Fees of Rs. 450/- should be
submitted to school on or before the
stipulated last date.
Medical fitness certificate in prescribed
form should be attached with the
application from.
The selected candidate shall pay fees as
per schedule on or before specified
day failing which, the seat shall be offered to
the candidate on the waiting list.
No Fees/ Deposits shall be refunded in case the candidate does not join the school after securing admission.
- Candidates qualifying in the Written Test will undergo physical and medical test followed by personal interview.
- Written test will be for the standard to which the admission is sought.
- In class V there are two sections viz; Grant & Non-Grant.
- Admissions to Grant section are given on the basis of combined merit list (English, Marathi, Hindi).
- Admissions to non-grant section shall be offered to the remaining candidates on the merit list.
- Personal interviews are conducted to ascertain candidate's confidence level, general awareness, and ability to adjust socially etc.
- Candidates are admitted only at the beginning of the academic year, as per admission schedule of the year.
- Candidates are permitted to join school only on full payment of fees and other charges in advance as per rules of the school.
- Every candidate must submit ten copies of recent passport size photographs at the time of admission.
Note: School leaving certificate from the previous school should be obtained ONLY after admission to this school has been confirmed after full payment of fees.
- Non-submission of school leaving certificate will render the admission invalid and fees paid shall be forfeited.
- Military and residential nature of the school distinguishes it from other schools. Parents are therefore advised to prepare their child, psychologically to adjust to the new environment.

Payment of fees and Other Dues
|
| Payment Schedule for Fees & Deposits and other charges is separately attached with the prospectus. Kindly note that the fees and deposits etc, are subj ect to revision from time to time and shall be binding as and when revised. No student will be allowed to appear for the final examination; unless all dues for the session have been paid in full. Account of expenditure of fees is not provided.

Withdrawals
|
On Own Request:-
Withdrawal of students is not permitted before completion of Std XII. In case parents still wish to withdraw their child for any reason, a written request must be submitted by registered post, at least one month in advance. However, FULL FEES for the current year will be payable. Caution money will be forfeited. The withdrawal will be subjectto Govt Rules.
On Disciplinary Grounds:-
Being a military School, great stress is laid on discipline. School authorities reserve the right to expel / ask for withdrawal of a student in case:-
- Student fails to maintain school discipline and / or his influence is considered detrimental for other students,
- Student fails in the same class for two consecutive years.
- Student leaves the school premises without proper permission.
- Student is caught for examination malpractices.
- Student is unable to adjust to the routine of the school.
