The Junior Division (JD)
cadets of Bhonsala Military School, Nagpur, achieved outstanding success at the
Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-613), securing the prestigious Overall
Best Troop Trophy. Organized by the No. 2 Maharashtra Air Squadron NCC, the
week-long training camp was conducted from 04 to 10 August 2026 at Heti,
Saoner.
Out of 300 talented Junior
Division (JD) and Junior Wing (JW) cadets representing various schools, a
powerhouse contingent of 27 JD cadets from Bhonsala Military School rose to the
top. Tested through a series of rigorous inter-troop competitions designed to
evaluate technical skills, military discipline and sportsmanship, Bhonsala
Military School emerged as the undisputed champions.

Military School demonstrated exceptional capabilities across multiple
individual and team categories.
Debate Competition: Cadet Shourya Khune won the Gold Medal for his
compelling arguments.
Best in Drill (Individual): Cadet Sachin Singh was awarded the Trophy for
Overall Best in Drill.
Overall Best Cadet: Cadet Aditya Shrivastav was adjudged the Overall
Best Cadet of the Camp for his exemplary performance and leadership.
Overall Best Troop: The collective excellence of the contingent
culminated in BMS securing the Overall Best Team position in the Drill
Competition and lifting the most prestigious award of the camp - the Overall
Best Troop Trophy.
The closing ceremony was
attended by Chief Guest Group Captain Ravi Liran (Retd) and Wing Commander V.
Dipika Rao, Commanding Officer, No. 2 Maharashtra Air Squadron NCC, Nagpur. The
dignitaries presented the medals and trophies to the winning cadets. The
Bhonsala Military School contingent was trained and mentored throughout the Camp
under the supervision of First Officer Premchand Khadsinge.
The Management and the Staff of Bhonsala Military School have commended the entire NCC contingent for their stellar performance.
