The ‘Teachers’ Day’ was solemnly celebrated on 5th Sept 2024 with lot of enthusiasm as an acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards students’ development. The programme commenced with offering floral tributes to the portrait of well known scholar Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President of Independent India, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as ‘Teachers’ Day’.
Speaking on the occasion School Captain Rd Agreem Koparekar expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards teachers for their dedication and selfless service to for shaping their future. He mentioned that the teachers impart knowledge to the extent that every student understands the concept in easy and refined way. They are the beacon of hope in the dark that guides the students on the path of righteousness. They instill a sense of empathy, compassion and respect to all individual. They use out of box methods to make teaching a learning experience. He further exhorted that teacher imbibes moral values and dignity to make them a responsible citizen of the country. He ended his speech by promising on behalf of all his fellow Ramdandees that they will complete their work on time and maintain high standard of discipline in the class.
While addressing the Ramdandees, Mr Manoj Deshpande, Asst Teacher, explained how 5th Sept was declared as ‘Teachers Day’ in India. He further asserted that the teachers are the backbone of the society and they spearhead the process of molding and shaping student’s personality to make him an ideal citizen of the country. He further recalled the role of teacher in everyone's life. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a great teacher, distinguished philosopher who proposed his birthday to be celebrated as the Teachers’ Day. He further stated that the teachers are God gifted people in everyone’s life, who lead us towards success without any selfishness. They are the builders of the future of our nation. Without teachers no one can grow mentally, socially and intellectually. At last, he advised Ramdandees to pay utmost respect to their teachers.
After the formal function, Ramdandees conducted fun games for the teachers. First in the series was, 'Aise-Vaise-Kaise’ game in which five teachers were called and asked them to follow hand movements. In this game Mrs Sumedha Chaware émerged victorious. In the Three Legged Race, Ramdandees divided the teachers into three groups of two members each. The pair of Ms Harshala Rajgire and Mrs Payal Khandelwal won the race. For the ‘Lemon Spoon Race’ teachers were divided into four groups of two members each, wherein Mrs Kuldeep Sone and Mr Krishna Niwalkar bagged the first prize.
In 'Dumb Charade’, the teachers were divided into four groups wherein Mr Kishor Gosewade, Dr J S Riar, Mrs Annapurna Kodape and Mrs Kuldeep Sone won the game.
For the last game ‘Tug of war’, the teachers were divided into four groups. In this competition, the group comprising of Sub Vinod Tikare, Hon/Capt Chand Mohammed and Sub Vijay emerged victorious in the game.
MOC of the programme was Company Captain Rudra Chatterjee of class 12th.
Self Governance
Self-Governance Day was observed to give superior of teaching profession to the cadets. The student teachers taught various subjects to fellow students and group of staff members judged the performance of the cadets.

Classroom Cleanliness Competition:
Cleanliness plays a vital role in our daily lives. A neat and clean classroom enhanced the learning process to embolden the spirit. Classroom Cleanliness Competition is conducted each year and is judged by the school appointments. A day prior, the Ramdandees were given time to clean their respective classroom and scrub the furniture.
The competition was held in a high spirit and all the sections toiled hard to emerge victorious.

Felicitation Ceremony
As a mark of gratitude to appreciate the efforts of the academic faculty and the military staff, a Felicitation ceremony was organised at the end of programme. Col Amarendra Hardas, Commandant presented a small pen with school name engraved, as a memento to each teacher.
The emcee of the programme was CSgt Arjyo Das of Class IX A.
